MUTATION: Cinder can create sparks and start fires, but not control or extinguish them once they are started.
ALIGNMENT: evil, although not purely.
PERSONALITY: Cinder is quiet and moderately calm. She is often too trusting of those who are kind or pretend to be kind to her, as many people fear her because of her cold nature, occupation, and robotic appendages. She is also liable to cause bodily harm to those who wrong her.
LOOKS: Cinder has dirty-blonde hair and blue-grey eyes. She has fair, slightly tanned skin, with a few smatterings of freckles here and there. Her left hand and leg are prosthetics, due to a fire she was in as a young child. She wears high, shiny black boots to hide her unmatched feet and often wears gloves to hide her hands. She dresses in dark colors accentuated with gold, orange, and red. (style)
HISTORY: Cinder was born a year after Doomsday to parents not blesses with magical powers. They were delighted but also worried when they discovered her power after she set a teddy-bear on fire accidentally. They slowly taught her to control her power, taking turns watching her through the night to keep her safe from the accursed flames. At the age of six, she was almost completely in control of her power. However, one night, a terrible nightmare racked her with fear and she unconsciously flared out, setting her room on fire. Her parents heard the smoke alarm and rushed in to help her but her fear was too strong. The flames intensified and her parents died before her eyes. Cinder was found the next morning in the smoldering remains of her house, badly burned and unconscious. She was rushed to the PICU, where her burns were treated and her hand and leg, burnt beyond repair, were replaced. Three months later, a mysterious figure took her from the hospital, and took her to his home. This mysterious figure got inside of Cinder's head, telling her that it was all her fault that her parents died, that she had brutally murdered them. He taught her the full strength of her power, and warped her mind. She is now, thanks to this mysterious man, a member of the police force in Beijing, one of the most unforgiving and brutal.

ROLE PLAY SAMPLE: Cinder pushed her aviator sunglasses up the bridge of her nose and watched the small flame of the lit piece of newspaper. She saw a shadow flash by out of the corner of her eye. A smirk making its way onto her face, she dropped the newspaper and stamped out the flame with her shiny black boot. This was the moment she had been waiting for. She ran in the direction the shadow had traveled as fast as her legs would carry her. It didn't take her long to catch up. She found herself face to face with a teenage girl, not much younger than Cinder herself. "Well, you've been a bad girl, haven't you?" Cinder stick out her lip and made a pouty face at the girl. Her name was Ella Neill, and she had been running a website running propaganda against the dictator. Needless to say, the site had been destroyed, and now it was the girl's turn. Cinder pulled off her gloves, watching as the girl sank down, paralyzed in fear. Cinder felt as her metal hand became warm to the touch, until finally it was white hot. Just as Ella returned to her senses and tried to bolt, Cinder grabbed her exposed arm with the white hot metal. Ella screamed in pain, and Cinder, satisfied, let go. "I trust that you will not go back to writing anytime soon," she said, as she handcuffed Ella. A job well done.
